Who writes in the dark

Who barely see's what's going down

I'm the little girl
With the pills in her hand
who doesn't know what it's like to be gone

Just Words"I'm fine" is a dirty lie.
The truth is that I want to die.

"I'm tired" is not even done.
It really means "I'm tired of being no one"

"I'm better" is but a curse.
The truth is that I've never been worse

"I'm just cold" is what I say
so my sleeves can hide my scars away.

"I already ate" is said with a frown.
I starve to see the numbers on the scale go down.

"I'm okay" is probably the worst.
It really means I'm about to burst.

All these things are lies to me.
But you take this as the truth because what else would I be?

Poor EyesBeautiful eyes that know nothing but lies,
And the feeling to die a bit inside every day.
She knows it has to be this way,
But she still fights.
Look me in the eyes,
And say you would have the courage to do the same.
None of this came,
To her in one day,
It all had to build up over years and years and years.
Every few weeks a new fear would develop.
Perhaps of a person or an action.
She drew herself away from all things loving,
Shoving herself towards the even darker side of life.
This just made her fight even harder,
And made her see the worst in everything,
Now she's giving up.
She's lost the courage she's been forced to keep,
She weeps in

The Bone CollectorSometimes my breath catches in my throat
and the very stillness of an earth going
a thousand and three miles per hour
gets lodged there.

Sometimes these simple exchanges
leave me breathless, croaking on dust:
the unfiltered pigments of other people's skin
and blood and ash

but with my tarred lungs and itchy eyes
I sit and sift through charcoaled remains,
alphabetising them from c to c. I am lost
in a world charred brazen.

Many things I have loved have turned to ash.
Many people. I was naive enough to think
that there was some perfect nutritional truth
that could outlast hell-fire.

I claw through a world turned ashen
and know those dead

I'm Fine"Are you okay?"
That's all they say.
And I leave behind
These words in my mind.
I'm broken, I'm dying.
Inside, I'm crying.
There are wounds beneath my skin.
There are trials I face within.
There are things I just can't say.
There are people I must betray.
Beneath a smile, I feel pain.
Behind the sun, there's always a little rain.
And beneath these words I hold in my head...
There's always the thing I say instead.
I leave the truth behind..
So when they say, "are you okay?"
I always say, "I'm fine."

Rain, Rain Go Away"Rain, Rain Go Away"

The sun set as she walked away that day
And it rained and rained for days to come
He became used to gazing at skies of grey
But man oh man he sure did miss that sun

Day by day his light began to fade
As he thought "Dear God, what have I done?"
His own tears would mix with the rain
Because God Almighty he missed that sun

Meanwhile water continued to shower
Throughout this lonesome phase
Even droopy were those flowers
From the bouquet he made last May

He tried to cover his wounds
By changing on random nights
But the answer he already knew
No intensity would ever match that light

Everywhere he went, clouds followed alon

Alone in this world.Are you okay?
Yes, I am.
Are you afraid?
Yes, I am.
Will you ever be afraid of nothing?
Will you ever be completely happy?
Someday all your feelings will stop roughing
All of them are becoming scrappy.
Being okay is not what it seems
"okay" is a word of sloth
it may be a word of dreams
but mostly it's a word of both.
Sadness and reclusion.

Such A Noble ManI long to be able to do justice to you,
but my words fail to arrest your perfect form.
I'm powerless to the supremacy of your eyes so blue,
which smolder and burn deep into my private soul.

Your voice enchants me whenever you speak -
I devour your words with an insatiable hunger.
Your hands - oh, your hands - they make me weak
as they pirouette across the ivory piano keys.

I remain stunned at your immense equanimity
and how you are composed during a tempest quarrel.
You are a passionate lover, you captivate me,
eradicating my self-defense with your gentle touch.

How naïve I am, to think I am worthy to vindicate you;
my words are

With all the pleasures you seek
Like ivory skin and golden bones
Send the devil back to hell
We don't want him in our homes

All the things you take for granted
As he watches from across the plain
Tempting you to take advantage
Please make this feeling go away

There's passions we can not see
Lust, Greed, Desire, Hate
That slowly manifests in us
That are sometimes hard to shake

He could be sleeping in your bed
Whispering evil in your ear
Completely filling your head
With all the things you fear

And the more you let him enter
Your frail and fragile lives
The more he starts to mentor
And dictate as he hides

I Can't Hear You AnymoreThe clouds are heavy tonight,
And I am suffocating,
Choking on my own words
As they fly from my mouth.

You never cared about yourself,
And after your death that
Became hard to think about.
(But I do anyway.)

I suddenly find myself missing
The years we had spent together
And how spider webs would form in
The corners of your eyes when you smiled.

But the thing is that I can’t hear you anymore.
I can’t remember the sound
Of your voice or the feeling of
Your hands as they touched my lips.

You once told me that home
Is where you lie,
But I hate it here, and
I hate living with these ghosts.

The MonsterI can't trust;
I can't love you.
The monster,
It's overpowering.
I'm not strong enough;
It has invaded me.
Every organ,
Every cell,
Every molecule,
Has been destroyed,
And taken over by something that isn't human.

It has to be something else;
It has to.
I wouldn't cut myself.
I wouldn't hate myself,
Or starve myself,
Or lose myself in a sea of hatred,
Of bloodlust,
And sorrow.
Would I?

Things I'll Never SayThere are certain things I’ll never say,
Like how I thought about killing myself today
Just to keep my own scary thoughts away.
Like how I stay awake way too late
To be sure I don’t awake in a bloody state.
Like how I soaked white into red last night
And turned myself into a ghastly sight.
Like how it hurts too much to breathe
When I make my own skin seethe.
Like how I Google things I shouldn’t
When I want to do things I couldn’t.
Like how I’m scared of being alone
Yet I’m only happy when I’m on my own.
Like how I know I’ll wind up killing myself
And turn into just a dusty photo on a dusty sh

I can't stop thinkingThere are times when I look back at the person I used to be.
I look back and I remember things that maybe I should not think about.
I remember things I'd rather not think about.
But I do. I can't stop.

I think about old crushes and what we used to do.
I think about what could've happened if I ever told that person how I felt.
I think about where we could be or if we ever will end up together.

I know it's not healthy to think this way.
But I do. I can't stop.

Sometimes I catch myself hoping. Believing that I am the same as before.
But I know in my heart that I'm not.
I don't have that same bond with those people from my childhood,
no matte

What's Right.There once was a boy,
there once was a girl.
He loved the girl dearly,
and the boy was her world.

The boy was kind,
and would be there to stay,
but the girl was broken.
She yearned to fly away.

The boy wouldn't let go,
he was determined to fix her,
but there was no secret,
no miracle cure.

She simply had to go,
set herself free.
This was the answer,
the only true key.

He wouldn't give up,
so she had to shove.
It was all in good interest,
all because of love.

But the boy was so patient,
so determined and kind,
he wouldn't give up.
She made up her mind.

There would be one last push,
one last try
before she had to give up,
let herself die.

You Can't Tell MeYou can't tell me
that my writing is wrong.
It might be for you
But for me it will live, forever strong

You can't tell me
that my words are not right.
They might not be prefect
But I'll still put up a fight

You can't tell me
my rhymes are too mix-matched.
Its just because they are not yours
To me they do not lack

You can't tell me
I did not try my best.
Who are you to evaluate?
Its not like its a test

You can't tell me
that I didn't follow a rule.
Creativity has no list
I think you are a fool

You can't tell me
that I didn't emote at all.
How can you tell me what I feel?
Its not like I'm a doll

You cant tell me
everything that I should.
How can you think you know everything?
And think you know whats "good"?

Love To Kill

He whispered in my ear, "Baby can I hug you around the neck?
Your eyes really brighten up when you cry,
Judging by the marks on your wrist you already want to die."

Trying to recover and stop loving you,
But my heart has a mind of its own,
And I can never find better then you.

"You deserve everything that's coming for you.
Everything you do makes me rageful,
I can barely stand to see you breathe.
Now blow me a kiss as you're on your knees."

Each bruise is a mistake, and truly made of love.
I know how his heart of stone really feels,
I just have to mine through the bitterness.

"You won't ever leave,
Don't you know what my dad did to me?
You won't be another heartbreak.
Now cover up your black eye and fake a smile."

His past has formed who he is,
All he needs to change his ways is love and a tender kiss,
We can get past this because true love actually exists.

"I'm sorry for the blood and broke promises,
I swear it won't be like before,
A flood of love,
Followed up by punches."

I trust him,
More lays then those hard knuckles,
Things will get better, it just takes time and things will be fine.

"I hold her in my new arms lost in her new eyes,
Oh how I regret making them cry,
And letting her slowly,
Die inside."

He holds me,
I can see the change in his eyes,
The change in him.

"Another bottle has found it's way in my soul,
Turning me cold once again,
I find the gun and put it to her head,
She's better off dead."

The warnings I should have listened to,
Now there is nothing to do,
I no longer have the choice to escape.
