PillsHere's a pill for my broken heart,
A pill for my body parts,
I can never again call holy.
One for each day where I slowly,
Die again, again, and again.
And then,
A few more for each jail visit,
A handful as an alternative for the razors that used to sit,
On my wrist.
Half a bottle for all of the lies.
A bit more just so I can get by.
The rest for all of the tears and blood shed.
Oops, I'm dead.
I'm Your Worn Out DollYou whisper you love me and will never let go,
But the future happens to show,
Both of us covered in blood drawn by a knife.
Have you tried to count every promise you will break in your life?
Every word that you've said that meant nothing after the smoke cleared,
And you have seemed to veer,
Away from me as I have predicted.
It seems as if you have gotten addicted,
To throwing me in the back round, pulling me out when I am needed.
Every word you've pleaded,
To me will not help the fact I feel like a worn out doll.
I now know better then to fall,
Into the words and phrases you've said to everyone and have memorized...

Is it hard to conceive?
Draw in your last breath, then-
Your last breath will leave.

Isn't it strange to think,
That there's a timer above your head?
A countdown you can't see,
That finishes when you're dead.

Don't you ever wonder,
What it'll be like when you're gone?
I bet the world will keep on spinning.
There will be another dawn.

But the harsh reality behind it-
We're all going to die.
There's no reason to try to fight it
Not even to question why.

It makes me wish that I could have a little more to give,
Because I'm not afraid of how I'll die...

I felt a warm feeling run down my arm
But truth behold the pain was gone
I saw blood dripping on the floor
I watched it drip and drip some more

How it happened; I don't know
But the drip was dripping slow
It might have seemed like such a bore
But I watched it drip some more

I watched the blood leave a trail
Down the drawer and on the mail
The trail now leaked under doors
Drip by drip, it dripped some more

The noise it made was pitter-patter
On the tiles spilt and splattered
To clean this up is such a chore
So I watched it drip some more

My head tilted and pictured eyes
Eyes like mine so young and wise
Disgusted by this
MessEverywhere I go
Every single place
The troubles seem to grow
Every smiling face
Eventually frowns with woe

Why can't I do
Anything right
I just screw
Up everything despite
The happiness I try to spew

Is it me
Am I the source of this ache
Does the pain flow free
Is this what I make
People be?

Should I go away and hide
Never to see others
Or the outside
But would I stop another's
Pain and be the only one that ever cried

What is a life with no grey
When everyone is sad
I'd give it all away
It wouldn't be that bad
I would finally be able to say

I saved a life

Perched high upon the mountains;
With wings as black as night.
They watch us in the hour,
Before darkness turns to light.

I've seen them in my visions;
In dreams they come and go,
But the things they seem to tell me
I guess nobody should know...

I've seen children that are buried,
Beneath a frozen lake.
A maiden sits there weeping;
Her heart is soon to break.

The crows flutter downward,
A noose amongst their hands.
They take the maiden away,
To a dark and distant land.

And even if I follow -
Even if I try...
I'll simply end up buried,
Where the frozen children lie.

Why I Write"Why I Write"

I tried to cover my darkest parts
With compound words and works of art
But no matter how much I change
My destiny will remain the same

Writing down elusive nightmares
Drawing monsters and evil to share
In the midst of the night during rain and hail
I found a way to release pain and exhale

I found a way so when I'm alone
To the eyes of others I can show
Hoping maybe to receive some compassion
For all the misery and woes that have happened

Isn't that why we paint?; isn't that why we write?
Trying to find solace in the air of the night
While others look on and may be amused
I continue confused; my soul has been bru
The PoetThe Poet:

He smiles as he sees her sleeping
& gently covers her with a blanket.
He goes to the window and looks out
watching snow fall, ever so slowly...

He sees people in the streets,
Chatting, walking. Some happy,
Others sad. Hearts beating,
Hearts broken; some warm, some cold.

He looks back at her, as she stirs in bed.
A yawn from her, brings another smile to him:
"How cute," he chuckles as he strokes her head.
He runs his fingers through her hair and is content.

Yet, even if he is happy here, again -
He is drawn to that window and finds himself
Staring out at the street and watching;
Marveling at the disparity and wonderin
Fri-end-ship.Fri-end-ship.

When I talk, you don’t listen.

You’re just waiting for your turn to speak.

You view every conversation as a competition.

All I can see is the unstoppable movement of your cheeks.

The flow of communication is always re directed back to you.

Almost as if everyone must hear what you have to say.

I’m not denying that half of what you say could actually be true.

But how can so much happen to a person in just one mere day.

What makes it worse is that your stories get recycled and repeated.

I zone in and out of your speeches and know exactly what happens next.

My place in the conversation is to respond and
The Dark ForestThe dark forest
It takes you in
And comes when you least expect it

The dark forest
Comfort you
But at the same time it’s your graveyard of memories

As you venture deeper into the darkness
You feel this presence sitting on your shoulder
As it gets comfortable you remember the feeling
And it fills you with fright

The dark forest
Horrible in its own way
You hate being there but you’ve know it for so long

The dark forest
Inside there is no turning back
While you know you don’t want to do this

And as you reach the end you see the a shovel
The presence gets stronger as you pick it up
You walk a little longer until you get to
Sending Me To HellSending Me To Hell:

I close my eyes, as the black smoke fills the air.
Incense burned to create a semi-choking sensation.
A tiny inkling of the perceived suffering,
But it is enough to make this difficult...

Next, wounds are carefully opened.
Patterns carved into the flesh,
Resembling the nine circles of suffering.
As each begins to form a red river,

An ocean pools beneath my stained elbows.

In the distance I hear the cackling of witches;
Accompanied always by the mad shrieks of those beyond.
Already they can taste the red wine that I ooze
And eagerly, their tongues wag; anticipating the feast.

Concentrate...I have to concentrat
My One True WishWhy is it always such a surprise,
Every time you tell me more lies?
You'd think that after all these years,
I wouldn't continue to shed these tears.
My one true wish? That you'd realize...
That trust and honesty are things that I prize.
But sadly I know this to be true,
That I can never expect this from you.
Darkness and lightWatch the shadows fall below
When light makes it refuse to show;
See it's rays rise over all
Making all the darkness fall.
Reminds me of the time I've spent
wondering where the good days went.
things might look bad now,
But they'll get better somehow.
Light shines in the darkest of places,
And brings smiles to the saddest of faces.
Do not despair because it is night,
Keep moving and keep up the fight
Light might also appear unknown,
Something hidden, no identity shown.
Other times it might be hard to see, 
maybe even shining internally.
Even when all you hope is gone
You will find the strength to carry on
Just be sure that this is not the end,
It will be in the arms of a friend.

I disagree with the 'secretly adore me' part, I don't think it's true.
